Review from the Quarterly Review
Stop Press
As we were going to press, word was received from ASTENE member Caroline
Williams of the mid-October appearance of her Islamic Monuments
in Cairo: The Practical Guide. One reviewer referred to it as
the veritable warhorse of Cairo guides, and it is now about
to charge out of the stables once more in its sixth caparison. According
to Lonely Planet, this book ought to be in the luggage of every
visitor to Cairo. Published by the American University in Cairo
Press.
